Charlie Noble, a well known name, raises cattle and horses in Yale Oklahoma.
He is a true cowboy, a steer roper, team roper, in his day, a great calf roper.  Charlie won his first saddle in 1954 competing in the event of double mugging.  His wins are to many to mention, but some of his wins his peers will remember:  All Around at Pond Creek three years running, All Around in 1968 at Arc City, 1974 he won the steer roping saddle in Happy Texas, he has placed at Cheyenne Frontier Days, he has won the Senior Steer Roping for the year and also the finals in 1984, he is an S.C.A. saddle winner, his latest big win was the Senior Steer Roping in 1994.
Charlie married June in 1958 and they had three children, Lenn, Tami, and Charlottia.  The family lost the heart of the
ranch when June passed on in January of 2004.
Charlie has raised some great horses, and to name a few:  Leopie, all around steer roping winner four times;  Rolleo, a world famous calf and dogging horse, Earnie Taylor won a round on him in the 1976 National Finals Rodeo with a time of 7.6.  Hard Luck, a reining, breakaway, calf and steer roping horse; Salty, a great calf horse, and all the kids rode him on the barrels; Roper Boy, a team roping, barrel and pole horse and Lenn's first ride.  Charlie has always had his kids well mounted with good horses and still does.  His daughter Tami has taken a few
Poker Bar horses to the WPRA Finals.
Charlie needs to reduce his herd, he has mares, geldings, babies, yearlings, two year olds and up.  Please continue to watch this site for horses to be posted and don't hesitate to give us a call for a complete rundown.
